On March 7, 2025, at approximately 11:39 AM, officers responded to a call about property damage at 385 Old Wheat Street NE. Victims reported that their tents were damaged with a cutting tool by an unidentified male suspect. Investigators from the General Crimes Unit later identified the suspect as 42‐year‐old Daniel Barnett, also known as “Davinci.” Warrants were obtained for his arrest in connection with the damage to property.

On March 11, 2025, while attending court at the Fulton County Courthouse for an unrelated case, Mr. Barnett was identified by members of the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office. With the assistance of the sheriff’s deputies, the Atlanta Police Department took him into custody. Mr. Barnett is scheduled to be transported to the Fulton County Jail for processing. He is facing charges on 7 counts of Criminal Trespass/Damage to Property and 1 count of Reckless Conduct.

Mr. Barnett works as a security officer in the Auburn area and is not affiliated with the City of Atlanta or the Atlanta Police Department.
