The Fulton County Library System in Atlanta, GA has introduced B.O.O.K. the Robot at Northside branch for Library Card Sign Up Month. The robot is there to promote the importance of library cards. September is recognized as National Library Card Sign-Up Month. B.O.O.K. stands for Bibliographic Organized Operational Keeper, and families are encouraged to get their library cards during this time. The event at Northside branch includes activities such as "Amelia Bedelia's First Library Card" and "Transformers", aimed at promoting the value of libraries.
