On August 18, 2024, Atlanta Police Zone 6 Officers responded to a burglary in progress at 2055 Cheshire Bridge Rd NE. The caller reported two males entering the radio tower, which had high voltage and was dangerous for them. The officers had the transmitter turned off for safety.

Upon arrival, officers found evidence of individuals inside and verbally instructed them to exit. They detained two suspects, 61-year-old Joesph Marquis and 30-year-old Bryan Newcomb. Marquis was in possession of a bag with scales, syringes, and suspected Crystal Meth.

Newcomb was charged with criminal trespass and destruction of property, while Marquis faced charges of criminal trespass, destruction of property, and possession of a Schedule I Drug. Marquis was taken to Fulton County Jail. It is vital to note that an arrest does not indicate guilt until proven in court.
