Wake County Public Schools reports the two-day Family and Community Engagement Summit kicked off today at Southeast Raleigh Magnet High School.
Superintendent Dr. Robert P. Taylor will deliver the State of the Schools Address this afternoon.
Lunch and instructional resources will be provided to support your student's learning, and attendees will have opportunities to connect with neighbors and members of the school system.

Apex official urges proper recycling to curb contamination
Apex, N.C. — City officials urge residents to recycle correctly to prevent contamination of curbside recyclables, noting electronics should be taken to the South Wake Multi-Material Recycling Facility at 6130 Old Smithfield Rd.
